Term Three Newsletter

Dear parents and caregivers

Firstly, a big thank you to those who ventured out on the last Thursday of Term Two for the 3 way conferences.  It was such a horrendous evening, and we appreciate you making the effort to come. We were impressed with the way your children relayed their learning goals to you.

Towards the end of Term Two, we welcomed Juan and his family to our school. Juan has quickly made lots of new friendships and we hope he is enjoying being part of Room 14 and Clevedon School.

Hopefully your Ag day projects are well underway now. If you are unsure of how your child should be involved in Ag day, please do pop in and have a chat with one of us.

We will have a test on the essential word lists in Week One, so it would be great if your child could practise the tricky ones in their list!

And finally, we have a one off inflatable soccer lesson on Thursday of Week One. There will then be an opportunity to sign up for the lunchtime sessions in Term Three, after the introductory session. We are also planning on practising for our cross country on Wednesdays  and Fridays for the next few weeks. Your children will need their PE gear on these days please.

We hope you are enjoying the holiday break and the children are getting a chance to recharge their batteries in preparation for a fun, busy term!

See you next week,

Kind regards

Jodie and Rachel

Art/ Inquiry Day!

Today we are creating our art pieces depicting a community we belong to!

We planned our art work last week and got to choose the media we would like to use.

We thought about the roles we play in these communities.
