What a fantastic day we had on Friday, ice skating and swimming.  We also had two birthdays to celebrate. A lovely way to end the week for our very tired children!

Oral Language Fun!

On Tuesday, Kiedis shared his favourite recipe with us... Salted Caramel Mousse!  He brought some in for us all to share.  It was delicious!!!

Ellie also shared her favourite Rocky Road recipe with us.  We were treated to a sample of this yummy treat!!  Thanks Ellie and Kiedis for spoiling us today!

Oral Language Programme

This week we are sharing our favourite recipes!  Lloyd brought in some rhubarb from his garden and shared a fruit crumble recipe.  We were all licking our lips when Elodie shared her chocolate fudge slice recipe!  Yum!

We are really enjoying listening to each others speaking program talks this fortnight. This is one of the interviews, that a class member did with their Nan, about life when she was young.

Technology Challenges!

In Term Three we worked with Mr Din creating a toy that used simple machines.  Have a look at our fantastic creations!

Today we started some Ag Day art.  We completed our scarecrow outlines and have begun colouring these brightly with pastels.  Next week we will outline with black pastel before adding dye!

                                                                  Term 3 Inquiry

Today we started our Technology sessions with Mr Din as part of our Inquiry unit.  We are working in small groups to create a machine that has a simple machine like a pulley, lever or inclined plane as part of it.
